Porcelain is the hardest of all ceramics. It can be used in dishwashes and microwave, or traditional ovens if the following are respected.

Microwave ovens:
-do not put dishes with gold, platinum or silver decorations in a microwave oven. They can be used in a traditional oven;

Traditional ovens:
-porcelain can withstand the weat of traditional ovens if thermal shocks are avoided.

Do not run cold water on hot porcelain, no place it on cold marble;

Dishwasher:
-use non-corosive washing powder and rising liquid;
